Dolomite is a refractory raw material consisting mainly of double salts of calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. The ratio of CaO to MgO is less than 1.39, the density is 2.8-2.9 g/cm3, the Mohs’ hardness is 3.5-4, and the ore is reddish-brown and gray. The natural mineral is a mixture of magnesite and dolomite, and the mixing ratio varies greatly. As magnesite replaces dolomite, the content of MgO or CaO rises upon the fall of the content of the other.

Dolomite can be used in building materials, ceramics, glass， refractory, chemicals, agriculture, environmental protection, energy conservation and other fields.
1. Dolomite It is mainly used as basic refractory materials and flux for blast furnace iron-making.
2. Dolomite is used to produce calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer and make magnesium sulfate.
3. Dolomite is the ingredients to make glass and ceramic.
4. Dolomite can also be blended into the tire glaze as a flux.
