According to statistics, China's production of silica bricks in 2018 has experienced double-digit growth, thanks to capacity replacement such as coking and increased demand from coke oven overhaul.
In December 2018, the output of silica bricks was 66,300 tons, a decrease of 33.15% from the previous month and a decrease of 37.91% from the same period of last year. From January to December, the cumulative output of silica bricks reached 1,346,100 tons, an increase of 10.83%.
In 2018, the peak production of silica bricks was 136,600 tons in June, and the trough was 16,300 tons in 12 points. As a major production area of silicon bricks in Henan, the air quality in December was poor, and it was generally in a state of suspension of production, resulting in a sharp drop in the production of silica bricks.
